Arts for Learning San Diego, an affiliate of Young Audiences

Arts for Learning San Diego envisions a world where all students, families and communities imagine, create and thrive through the arts. A4LSD, one of 32 affiliates of the Young Audiences national organization, was established in 1963 and celebrates over 53 years of service in San Diego.  Now serving our third generation of San Diego A4LSD has served over half a million San Diegans.

At Arts for Learning San Diego, we believe that the arts and artists are essential community resources that deserve sustained advocacy and long-term investment. We train and commission artists of all disciplines to engage directly with diverse communities through vibrant partnerships at the individual, family, school, and community level. Our arts programming reaches participants of all ages, igniting the collective imagination of San Diego, and inspiring generations of change makers.
