It is the only international NGO dedicated to work on drinking water and sanitation and works in 15 developing countries in two continents Africa and Asia, including in India. WaterAid is founded on the belief that safe drinking water, effective sanitation and good hygiene have a lasting impact on people’s health and life.WaterAid India’s goal is ‘to contribute to better quality of life by recognizing water and sanitation as basic human rights and the foundation for all development’.
