AFS Intercultural Programs
Missão
AFS-USA works toward a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global volunteer partnership. AFS-USA currently: Sends more than 1,500 students to more than 40 countries each year Awards nearly $2 million in financial aid and scholarships annually Places more than 2,800 students from abroad with U.S. families. Is supported by approximately 5,000 AFS Volunteers in the U.S. and 36,000 volunteers around the world
Sobre Nós
We, as volunteers, work locally to identify students interested in spending a summer, semester or school year in a foreign country. We also work to find host families for students wishing to spend a school year here in Georgia.
