AVODEC stands for Asociacion de Voluntarios para el Desarrollo or Volunteer Association for the Development. AVODEC is based in Jinotega and works with more than 150 communities in different municipalities in cooperation with international organizations for alleviating poverty, health problems, agriculture, housing, water supply, energy, environment and others.
