In 1919 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, a group of Jewish men and women expanded their spiritual meetings and created a synagogue. They built a place that made them feel at home in their community. A spiritual space which grew to celebrate their faith. They built a base for communal ritual, charity work, experiencing life’s cycles, forming lifelong friendships and teaching their heritage to their children.Today, the Bay Ridge Jewish Center continues as a home for those that seek expression of their faith as well as those that want to learn about Judaism through prayer, celebration, socializing and education.
