Reading 4 Smiles, Inc.

Purpose:

The Reading 4 Smiles agency is an educationally enriched after school program. The agency is designed to aid children in disadvantaged neighborhoods that need an additional resource of support for academic success. The program will assess students reading comprehension and work with children both individually and in small groups. The agency will serve as an educational/recreation program that will inspire students to challenge themselves academically while encouraging college bound goals.

Mission:

Reading 4 Smiles will serve students of low income neighborhoods and encourage academic achievement through literacy and technology based programs. Reading 4 Smiles will provide supplemental academic support services while encouraging students to be high achievers in their communities. We believe that students can achieve, when they can read.

Vision:

Reading 4 Smiles will look to expand and assist children in other core subject areas that will help them reach and continue on the journey of academic success. Reading 4 Smiles will continue to teach an academic moral and inspire collegiate goals. The agency will one day be able to expand from city to city where educational support may lack.
