Echo Theater Company

The Echo Theater Company (ETC) is a community of performers, aerialists, acrobats and educators dedicated to leading students and audiences to explore their creative and physical potential through ensemble physical theater.

We use play, joyful collaboration and movement to create and tell stories of individual and collective human potential. Our classes use acrobatics, theater and aerial arts to develop and exercise potential at many levels: as artists, athletes, communicators and problem solvers. Our productions strive to shine a light on the strength in each one of us, and remind us that when we trust and rely on one another, we can accomplish the extraordinary.

Our hope is that everyone who enters our space leaves with an awakened sense of possibility and the inspiration to spread that energy into their own lives, and then comes back for more.

We have three pre-professional youth performance companies, a professional performance program & a school with more than 2000 students per year. We have school locations in southeast and southwest Portland. Our school and youth performance companies have a widely recognized 30-year history under the Do Jump School name, with a well-documented history of success.
