Relay Teacher Pathways

Relay Graduate School of Education is redefining the way we develop teachers. We train teachers through a Residency, a two-year Master’s and certification program, that prepares teachers for the challenging but rewarding work of teaching.

 We believe that becoming a great teacher is much like becoming a great musician or surgeon: it takes continuous practice, feedback, and dedication. We utilize a curriculum that emphasizes the teaching and instructional skills that have the greatest impact on student learning. Our faculty members, actual teachers and school leaders who’ve led thousands of students to extraordinary results, and inspired other educators to grow their own ability, facilitate a powerful learning experience emphasizing practice and performance. Relay programs are designed to help teachers reach professional mastery in techniques that transform urban classrooms.

 Our mission is to teach teachers and school leaders to develop in all students the academic skills and strength of character needed to succeed in college and life.
