Little Star Montessori School

Little Star sparks children's curiosity, compassion, and sense of community through joyful learning and discovery.

For the last 35 years Little Star Montessori has been dedicated to ensuring that children in the Methow Valley have the opportunity for a healthy and joyful early childhood education. Little Star has held an important place in this rural community by offering early education to children aged 16 months to kindergarten and continuing to expand programs to students, parents and staff. In 2017 we embarked on an informed expansion, opening a second campus in Twisp serving birth to 3 years and breaking ground on a second school building in Winthrop which will add three classrooms and enable us to serve birth – 6 years from Fall 2018 onward.
