norVOLution, Norwood’s Volunteer Revolution enriches the lives of members of the Norwood Life Society community by providing meaningful and engaging volunteer opportunities. Norwood Life Society, originally founded as the Norwegian Old People's Home Society in 1896, is a not-for-profit organization that focuses its efforts on "enhancing the independence and well-being of older adults." norVOLution provides volunteers who serve a large community of older adults through Norwood Crossing, our residential and health care campus, the Norwood Seniors Network, our community outreach program that provides in-home services and transportation, the Norwood Park Satellite Senior Center and the Norwood Life Care Foundation, which raises funds to support our mission.

norVOLution’s vision is to grow and strengthen our volunteer efforts to: 1) provide more services to our senior clientele, 2) enhance the lives of our volunteers, particularly mature adults, and 3) be of service to the broader community.
