GFWC Contemporary Women of North County

CWONC (Contemporary Women of North County) is a non-profit organization that supports community service efforts in the San Diego North County area. We are a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs International (GFWC). Our primary goal is to contribute to the betterment of our community. We focus on many issues involving women and children, the elderly, animals and the military and their families. Our support varies and embraces service projects in six areas: The Arts, Conservation, Education, Homelife, International Affairs and Public Affairs. The benefits of joining CWONC include: volunteering that fits into your busy life; building lifelong friendships; exchanging ideas; socializing with a great group of women who share the same interests; getting involved and becoming a participating member of the community and helping to ensure that our community, nation and world continue to be a better place to live. We meet the second Monday of the month in San Marcos, California. Social & hands on project at 6 PM; Guest orientation at 6:30 PM & Meeting starts at 7 PM.
