Missão
The most recent project of the Chicago Music Consortium has been to develop an eight part Computer Graphic Imaged (CGI), Educationally Enhanced (EE), DVD series on the History of the Big Band, and its impact on American and World History. There is no intellectually significant movie series on the subject: https://www.imdb.com/find/?q=the%20history%20of%20the%20big%20band&s=tt&ttype=ft The DVD series will demonstrate how state-of-the-art media and modern film technologies can be used to engage and educate a younger audience in the Art of the Big Band. The Big Band has significantly changed world history. The goal of this project is to create a lasting educational, fictional, but historically accurate, 8 part 2 hour Computer Graphic Imaged (CGI), Educationally Enhanced (EE), Adult Graphic Novel format, DVD movie series that will be used to preserve the history of, and educate new audiences about, the Big Band, primarily in the United States, but also in Europe and Asia.
