CCA is a voluntary non profit organization in Sri Lanka dedicated for the Care of Patients affected with Cancer.CCA organizes its activities targetting physical psychosocial and spiritual wellbeing of patients affected with devastating illness.

Members carry out these work aiming for the great merits "Whoever would tend to me," he said, "should tend to the sick." described by Lord Buddha.

CCA is functioning a 20 bed hospice and a home based palliative care service in a resource poor background.CCA pioneered development of Palliative Care in Sri Lanka.

As a developping country many of the citizens in Sri lanka belonged to poor/low socioeconomic stratum,CCA is supporting these patients in many ways.

Not only patient care CCA conducting research in Cancer/Palliative care areas.

CCA wecomes volunteers from all over the world but they should be Alcohol and Smoke free during their stay.
