DORCHESTER SENIORS INC
Missão
Our mission is to provide opportunities to all senior citizens of Dorchester County to enhance their educational, mental, social, spiritual and physical well being. To achieve this goal, Dorchester Seniors, Inc. works cooperatively with other community agencies and organizations through advocacy for senior citizens and inter-agency coordination including outreach, assessing needs and planning actions.

Dorchester Seniors, Inc. operates two senior citizens centers in Dorchester County. The Faith Sellers Senior Center is located in Summerville and The David Sojourner Senior Center is located in St. George. Members must be 50 years of age or older. The center memberships are free to any Dorchester County residents, out of county residents pay a small yearly fee. Activities and programs at the senior centers include physical fitness, education, arts/crafts, trips, and numerous social events. We also provide a number of services such as congregate meals, home-delivered meals, and transportation. as well as information and referrals.
