United Charities of Las Vegas is a Nevada and Federal 501(c)(3) Charity. Kids First Academy is a subsidiary of United Charities of Las Vegas.

Nevada ranks at the bottom of all states in their education of students. In Las Vegas, we have the fifth-largest school district in the United States serving over 330,000 students. Like most large school districts the minority and underserved students are the ones who suffer the most. Kids First Academy is a proposed charter school that will give low-income and minority parents an additional choice for their children's education. Kids First Academy will be diverse by design. We believe every child deserves a quality education regardless of economics, ethnicity, or Zip Code.

Our education model is to provide young scholars with a Classical Education. The vision of Kids First Academy is to hold our leaders, teachers, and students to the highest level of integrity and accountability. We model what we teach. We embed social-emotional and character development in everything we do. We expect what we model. Our vision statement was formulated by reaching back into history and modeling the great thinkers and leaders on the character attributes that we look to teach and model in our school. we model and teach Curiosity, Dignity, Fortitude, Courage, Humility, and strive for Justice in the classroom, on the campus, and in the community.
