Missão
No.9 Contemporary Art and the Environment is a non-profit organization, established in 2006, that uses art and design to bring awareness to environmental and social concerns. The purpose of No.9 is to inspire a ‘culture of sustainability’ by empowering youth to lead a revolution in building resilient and sustainable communities for the 21st century. We work with students to inspire and encourage creative thinking around city planning, environmental issues and promoting a sustainable lifestyle. To achieve our mission, No.9 runs four programs: Imagining My Sustainable Community, Public Art for Change, No.9 Gardens, and the Cloud 9 Festival.
Sobre Nós
Cloud 9 is a youth-led festival, founded and directed by a group of creatives between the ages of 21 and 25 who feel very passionately about the need to ignite change from the ground up. Cloud 9 is a three-day outdoor art, music and camping festival, taking place during the weekend of September 8-10th, 2023 at No.9 Gardens in Rideau Lakes, Ontario. The festival will feature live musical performances, an outdoor art exhibit, an interactive art piece, and a pop-up market featuring a diverse range of local businesses. The purpose of this festival is to generate money and raise awareness for No.9’s programs and mission.
