ABOUT

The Health Innovation Program at Impact Hub Accra is a specialized program to support the burgeoning ecosystem of community health and healthcare leaders throughout Ghana. The Health Innovation Program partners with government, industry, academia, community-based organizations, and the health sector to improve health outcomes in West Africa through the lens of entrepreneurship.

HISTORY

Launched by Impact Hub Accra in June 2016, the program is focused on creating a vibrant, pan-African health innovation ecosystem through a diverse offering of health-related programs. It is the first program in Ghana to create a dedicated space empowering both entrepreneurs and health professionals to use their experiences and talents to create opportunities and provide innovate solutions in the health space.

The development of the Health Innovation Program stems from the many members of our community who have shared compelling stories and desires to improve health outcomes in West Africa. We believe that unleashing their talent through entrepreneurship and innovation can help eradicate these challenges and catalyze the region’s health innovation ecosystem.
