Advoz: Mediation & Restorative Practices

Our Mission is to transform conflict and build community through face-to-face dialogue programs.

Through time-tested dialogue methods, Advoz now equips our community to constructively handle conflicts, violence and crime. With 40+ years serving more than 800 youth and adults, businesses and schools each year, Advoz empowers all parties in conflict or crime, even victims and offenders, to find resolution and healing, restore broken relationships, and build stronger, safer communities.

Advoz formed in 2017 from the merger of Center for Community Peacemaking (was LAVORP) and Conflict Resolution Services (was Lancaster Mediation Center), both long-standing community organizations.

Now, together, we can work "upstream" at the roots of conflict and harm to:

• Facilitate healing of youth and adults who may have either harmed or been harmed by violence and/or crime,
• Mediate resolution of challenging situations among families, neighbors, and institutions,
• Train leaders, counselors, educators and others in conflict resolution and restorative practices as an inclusive approach to conflict, harm and community building.
