Yakima Humane Society

Our mission is to end pet overpopulation, to end animal suffering and cruelty, and to education the public regarding responsible pet ownership.

Yakima Humane Society is the only open-admission animal care shelter in Yakima County. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving companion animals in Yakima County.

Our services include pet adoption, spay/neuter services, low-cost pet microchipping and vaccinations, pet licensing, lost/found pet programs, housing for animal control departments, humane education and outreach, and foster and transfer programs.
