Arts for PEACE

PEACE (Peace Education through the Arts, Culture, and Exposure)is a non-profit educational initiative to promote international understanding and cross-cultural exchange.

Our vision for the PEACE program is to demonstrate the value of the Arts as a significant educational and inspirational tool with the dual ability to spread ideas of peace and justice in our local and international communities, and to provide non-violent alternatives for expression and communication. Ultimately, through PEACE events, including visual and performing arts exhibitions, elementary and high school arts workshops, and film screenings, we aim to celebrate multiculturalism through the diversity of ideas for which we will provide a forum.

Finally, in keeping with its objectives, the PEACE initiative will run programs that set up partnerships between artists and their audiences, with the accent on multiculturalism, cultural cross-currents and social renewal.
