Community Housing Associates, Inc. (CHA) was incorporated in 1989 by Baltimore Mental Health Systems, Inc. as a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is the development and operation of community-based, stable housing throughout Baltimore City for people with disabilities. CHA's mission statement focuses on developing units which are affordable, decent, safe, and integrated throughout the City's neighborhoods.
