Beats, Rhymes & Relief

Beats, Rhymes and Relief ("BRR"), E.I. Number 46-2943217, is a District of Columbia nonprofit corporation that seeks to promote the arts while raising awareness of, and providing financial support for, humanitarian relief efforts around the world. BRR was formed on June 10, 2013. It has applied to the Internal Revenue Service Ithe "IRS") for a ruling that it is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"). That application is currently pending with the IRS. Counsel advises that, upon the eventual issuance of the ruling by the IRS, charitable contributions to BRR made on or after June 10, 2013 should be fully tax deductible to donors to the extent provided in section 170 of the Code.
