To create the model of dignity and respect for the deprived children, increasing the education level and supporting the families through the community.
Crianca Brasil is based in an extremely impoverished part area of Caxias (Rio de Janeiro state). We work in communities that suffer from social deprivation, limited access to education, absence of running water, sanitation, infrastructure, high unemployment and poor health care. Our NGO runs various projects that have as objective better future of children and adolescents. Our work involves running 3 community schools, providing social assistance and psychologist attendance, organizing school reinforcement and sport activities, managing paper box factory that employs women from communities and facilitating superior education.
