The Menomonee Falls Historical Society was established in 1966 when the Miller-Davidson House and Barn were purchased by the Village of Menomonee Falls. The Historical Society was named caretaker of the house, owner of the artifacts and charged with the task of developing a local museum for the history of Menomonee Falls. Since then, an additional 7 historical buildings have been relocated to the 17 acre property known as Old Falls Village Park. The buildings were restored and have displays of local artifacts appropriate to the time period. We are proud to host the longest running social event in Menomonee Falls history with the Annual Silver Tea event. During the summer months we hold a weekly Depot Beer Garden with rotating craft beers on tap, live music and food options. Our Civil War re-enactment is a day 2 event with battle re-enactment held in July. September hosts our local school children for an "In Touch with History" event. And Halloween Family Fun Night is held in October to be a safe family friendly event packed with entertaining options for the children and their families. We are always seeking Volunteers and have many opportunities for them within our organization. We use Volunteers for docents in our Historic Building tours, for basic carpentry skills for repairs/upkeep, for program development, grant writing, social media updates, bar tenders, grilling/food service, cookie baking, etc. We have many opportunities just for you !
