the Global Team is a sponsored 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides universal education through the sport of soccer. Enhanced by the power of the global game, the Global Team employs a typical soccer model to provide capacity development, education/soccer curriculum and mentor training to our local partners throughout the world. Our vision is for every child to have access to a creative education through soccer in supportive, sustainable communities.
Integrating the Classroom and Field
Our model integrates classroom and field lessons by reinforcing each weekly theme through discussions, activities and work-sheets. Integrating educational topics such as math, the environment, reading and writing with the sport of soccer keeps kids engaged in their education, developing creative leaders and providing high quality education through low-cost solutions. Each program lasts for 10 weeks, with two educational and soccer sessions per week.
