Graphic Designer (Volunteer)
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to help bring Pathos Wildlife's mission to life through compelling visual storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who loves design, believes in the power of visual communication, and wants to use their talents to advance wildlife conservation.
As our Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how Pathos Wildlife is seen around the world. From digital campaigns and educational materials to fundraising initiatives and brand development, your work will help inspire action, engage supporters, and amplify our conservation impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling graphics for social media, newsletters, campaigns, presentations, and other digital and print materials
- Create branded assets that effectively communicate Pathos Wildlife's mission, programs, and conservation initiatives
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts for fundraising campaigns, outreach efforts, and storytelling projects
- Maintain consistency across all visual materials, ensuring alignment with Pathos Wildlife's brand identity and design standards
- Develop infographics, reports, promotional materials, and educational resources that simplify complex conservation topics
- Assist in creating visual content for events, volunteer recruitment, partnerships, and donor engagement
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution and refinement of the organization's visual brand
- Recommend innovative design approaches that strengthen audience engagement and organizational visibility
Preferred Skills (But Not Always Necessary)
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, Canva, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
- Experience creating graphics for both digital and print applications
- Ability to translate ideas and messaging into impactful visual content
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, professional work
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team
- Experience with branding, illustration, motion graphics, or video editing is a plus
- Interest in wildlife conservation, nonprofit work, or mission-driven organizations
