Holding a hand, comforting words, quiet companionship all can bring so much sunshine into our patients lives on their end-of-life journey. We have many patients who would love a regular weekly or bi-weekly visit. In just an hour or two of your time you can make a world of difference to the patients and their families.
We provide training and support through the whole experience. There is an onboarding process that includes a background check, personal references and some medical requirements. We cover all costs involved. We also have remote opportunities if that is something that would work better for you.
You can follow the links here to get in touch with Kris the Volunteer Coordinator and she will explain it all and answer any questions. We look forward to hearing from you.
We have patients all around the area in facilities and on hospice in their homes. Volunteers travel to patients. We aim to keep everything within 20 minutes of Bedminster.
Reach out to Kris and we will set up a time for a quick chat to answer any questions and get the onboarding process started.
