About FYAR
FYAR.org is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth through creative expression, workforce development, and community events. We are expanding our digital reach and are seeking a skilled Video Editor to help grow our YouTube presence.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage from events, interviews, and performances into polished, engaging YouTube-ready content.
- Add graphics, titles, captions, and transitions that align with FYAR brand.
- Optimize video formatting, sound, and pacing for YouTube and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the communications team to ensure storytelling aligns with campaign goals.
- Deliver edits on agreed timelines, maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience editing videos for YouTube or digital platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Knowledge of YouTube formatting, aspect ratios, and export settings.
- Ability to add simple motion graphics, lower thirds, and subtitles.
- Creative eye for pacing, music integration, and audience engagement.
