Friendly visit volunteer with Hospice!

Volunteer with Gentiva Hospice. Gentiva is one of the largest Hospice providers across the country and we are honored that patients and families allow us to serve and support them during a valuable time in their life. There are many ways that you can volunteer with Gentiva Hospice, including sharing your gifts and passions with our patients and families, but if nothing comes to mind off hand- I have included a list of things we love to see our volunteers do with our patients and families.

• Hold a hand, share a story
• send a card
• listen or read a story
• sing or play an instrument
• run errands of preform light household keeping.
• Share flowers, bake or garden.
• Provide phone calls to patients and families
• Veteran- to- Veteran support.
• Engage in an activity or craft
