This April, we are launching a coordinated series of programs designed to improve patient experience, raise awareness, and engage volunteers in meaningful, hands-on impact work.

🌿 Bloom Kits Care Package Program

We are assembling and distributing sensory-friendly care packages for neurowards, including stress-relief tools, soft essentials, cognitive activities, and comfort items. Each kit is designed to provide emotional and sensory support for patients in clinical environments.

    We are currently seeking:

    • Hospital and neuroward approvals
    • In-kind donation partners
    • Grant funding support
    • Volunteers for assembly and outreach

📚 Blog & Patient Experience Program

Our blog initiative explores the lived experiences of individuals with neurological conditions, including fatigue, brain fog, misdiagnosis, and daily challenges.

    This month includes:

    • Parkinson’s Awareness Flip Books created by volunteers
    • Research-based educational content using credible sources
    • Long-term development of the Annual Healthcare Disparity Report
    • Launch of “Mind Matters,” a podcast featuring expert and patient perspectives on neurological health disparities

    • Infographic-style educational posters
    • Spring-themed tactile art (pressed flowers, textured collages)
    • Canvas paintings and visual storytelling pieces
    • Materials to be included in care packages and digital campaigns

💬 Patient Interaction Program: “Love Notes & Neurons”

A community-centered initiative designed to build emotional connection and support through:

    • Handwritten letters and artwork for patients
    • Short videos sharing encouragement and awareness messages
    • Development of a patient-family community space for shared stories and dialogue

    🧠 Thought Bubbles Campaign

A mental health awareness initiative featuring bookmarks and stickers with:

    • Coping strategies and mindfulness prompts
    • QR codes linking to mental health resources
    • Educational and calming visual design distributed in care packages and online
