Hop In & Help Out! Volunteer for Donation Pickups with Habitat for Humanity Oakland ReStore

About the opportunity:

Every day, our drivers travel all over the Bay Area picking up donations that they bring back to our ReStores.

As a ReStore Truck Driver Helper you'll start at our Oakland ReStore location in the morning and spend the day with the driver traveling around the bay in a commercial box truck, helping to load interesting (and sometimes large) donations like furniture and appliances, seeing parts of the Bay Area you never knew were there and enjoying good company and good conversation.

No experience is necessary, and we provide all the necessary stuff to move items, like straps and dollies/hand trucks.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials, and more at a fraction of the retail price. Proceeds from ReStores support Habitat for Humanity's mission to build and renovate homes for families in need, providing them with safe, decent, and affordable housing. By shopping, donating, or volunteering at a ReStore, you contribute to sustainable community development and help make a positive impact in your local area.
