Your journey starts with a full orientation—think less lecture, more adventure! You’ll dive into each of our dynamic programs to discover where your heart beats strongest—whether it’s playing soccer, dancing with same old agers. Reading stories to eager learners, helping women craft their dreams into businesses, or simply showing up with love and laughter.

Choose Your Path—And Change It, Too

After exploring all our programs, you decide where to serve more deeply. And you’re never locked in—you’re free to grow, shift, and explore as you go. Many of our volunteers discover hidden talents or passions weeks into their stay!

All Backgrounds Welcome

You don’t need to be a teacher, a preacher, or a professional—you just need to be you. Whether you love logistics, storytelling, admin, cooking, photography, or working with your hands—there’s space for your skills and heart at Tshega.

Community that Feels Like Home

You’ll stay at our peaceful Riverside Base, with comfortable accommodation, Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, a housekeeper who cooks nourishing dinners from Monday to Friday, and a gardener who keeps the grounds green and growing.

A Program with Purpose

Tshega runs six powerful programs—from early childhood education to sports, women’s skills development, a feeding scheme & homework club, outreach programs into the village, and academic support. No matter where you serve, you’re sowing into a mission that empowers instead of enables.
