Unpaid volunteer, 2-10 hours per week, 2-6 months, remote
Anike Foundation is seeking volunteers to work with our partner organizations to research, develop, and submit grant proposals. We have over 200 organizations seeking funding to meet the needs of their communities such as education, vocational training, clean water and sanitation, health care, and women’s rights. Anike grant writers help to match the needs of our partner organizations with possible funders and then guide the organizations step-by-step through the grant proposal development and submission process.
In order to succeed in this position, you must have a personal computer with Internet access; strong written communication skills; ability to collaborate with a variety of organizations to develop proposal ideas; ability to perform website research using grant research tools; ability to interpret and follow complex grant guidelines; ability to translate information and ideas into concise grant application language; proficiency in using Excel to develop budgets; and ability to use Google Spreadsheets to organize data.
