Vets Helping Vets with Video Messages from the Comfort of your Home

We are looking for veterans, active duty and military family members to record short 30-90 second videos for our veterans on hospice with our organization. These are messages of thanks for service, words of connection and compassion to brighten dark days. We will take the videos and group in groups of 5 based on service branch and share them with the hospice vets for veterans pining ceremonies, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veteran's Day and when they need some comfort on dark days. If you are musical and want to record yourself singing patriotic songs or playing them on an instrument, we would love that as well.

It is so important to us to celebrate these brave people and the sacrifices they made for our country.

When you record your video make sure you are in a well-lit place, you speak clearly and loudly, state you name, branch of service, and wear your uniform if possible or something else that denotes your service. The videos can easily be done on a cell phone and sent directly to Kris the volunteer coordinator, the QR code and email are on the flyer in the ad. You will get a release to sign and a chance to view the finished group your video is included in and periodic updates about how the project is bringing joy to our patients on hospice.
