Position Summary
The Board Secretary supports the organization by maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper documentation of board activities, and helping the board operate efficiently and in compliance with nonprofit governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain minutes for board meetings
- Maintain official organizational records (bylaws, policies, board roster)
- Ensure meeting notices and agendas are distributed in advance
- Track board attendance and terms
- Maintain important legal and compliance documents
- Assist with document organization for audits, grants, or reporting

Board Treasurer – Job Description
Position Title: Volunteer Board Treasurer
Organization: Abba 4ever Enterprises, Inc.
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per month
Position Summary
The Treasurer provides financial oversight to ensure the organization operates responsibly, transparently, and in compliance with nonprofit financial standards. This is an oversight role, not daily bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Review monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations
- Monitor income, expenses, and overall financial health
- Present financial updates at board meetings
- Assist in developing and monitoring the annual budget
- Ensure appropriate financial controls and accountability
- Support preparation of annual Form 990 (with CPA/bookkeeper)
- Review and approve major financial transactions
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, banking, or business
- Ability to read financial statements

Position Title: Volunteer Fundraising Chair / Development Coordinator

Time Commitment: 4–6 hours per month (may increase during events or campaigns)
Position Summary
The Fundraising Chair leads efforts to secure financial support for Abba 4ever through donor engagement, events, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support annual fundraising goals and strategies
- Identify potential donors, sponsors, and community partners
- Assist with planning fundraising events and campaigns
- Support online giving initiatives and social media fundraising
- Help create donor communication and appreciation efforts
- Work with the board to build a culture of giving and community support
