Retention Regional Lead

Respect MO Voters is seeking someone to manage local regional gatherings and to coordinate their efforts with those of the campaign at large.

As a part of the Regional Councils, VolEx needs a Representative for each region our campaign covers. They will also work closely with the In-Person Engagement Teams and Outreach Department.

What This Role Does

• Lead the In-Person Engagement teams in a given regional area
• Help keep volunteers motivated and together by coordinating local get-togethers before, and after, large events

Skills Needed

• Organizational and time management skills
• Able to multitask and delegate as needed
• Keen understanding of what is, and is not, a good gathering idea. Coordinate this with Department Lead.

Responsibilities

• Manage the local Regional Team
• Represent Volunteer Experience Department in the Regional Council
• Organise and coordinate social events in your region.
  • Advertise on Slack, and/or Social Media, as appropriate.
• Communicate regularly with Dept. Chair, leadership, and In-Person Engagement teams.
• May also host online Zoom events
• Communicate with other Regional Leads

• Zoom – Used for Department and Program meetings
• Google Sheets – Where resources are stored
• Slack – Communication and team connection
• Trello – Project and workflow tracking
• Facebook – Social Networking
