Experienced Parrot Caretaking Volunteer

Are you passionate about parrots and have experience handling medium to large-sized birds? Our non-profit animal rescue is looking for dedicated and experienced parrot caretakers to volunteer and help us provide top-quality care and enrichment for our feathered residents!

Duties Include:

Cleaning cages and changing cage paper

Sweeping and mopping floors

Feeding and providing fresh water

Offering enrichment activities to keep our parrots happy and engaged

Providing supervised out-of-cage socialization time

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old

Must have prior experience handling parrots

Must be comfortable interacting with and handling large parrots

Must be able to commit to at least 8 hours per month

Must be willing to learn
