Volunteer Opportunities at the IPG!

The International Peace Garden welcomes volunteers to support our 2025 "Worker Bee" program.

We have four designated volunteer days, as follows:

May 27, 2026: Volunteer Grounds Day

June 13, 2026: Volunteer Planting Day

June 20, 2026: Volunteer Planting Day

We also have opportunities for group workdays and individual hours of service every day of the week. We welcome individuals, athletic teams, clubs, and organizations. We ask that children under 16 be accompanied by a parent or adult. Let us know how you would like to help, when you are available, and we can identify projects that align with your interests.

Volunteer opportunities include tour guides, garden ambassadors, general maintenance handyperson (painting and small repairs like picnic tables, etc.), garden helpers, front gate workers, and event support (membership table, ushers, ticket takers, and children's activities).

You will receive free admission to the International Peace Garden when you enter the garden to volunteer, 15% off any purchase at the Peace Garden Gift Shop, and for every 15 hours of volunteering, you will be entered into a draw for a one-night stay at one of our cabins, to be used from Oct. 15/26 to Apr. 14/27. Additionally, if you like to camp, we are offering one free night of camping for 12 hours of volunteering over two consecutive days.

We will work with you to find the perfect "volunteer" fit as we work together to make the International Peace Garden a beautiful place for everyone who works, plays, or visits.
