What This Position Is For
Bedrock Health Group is seeking a Healthcare Research & Development Analyst Intern (Volunteer) to support our research and development efforts. This opportunity is designed for undergraduate students, recent graduates, graduate students, and other early-career individuals who want hands-on experience in healthcare research, compliance, operational analysis, policy review, and strategic development.
This is a structured learning opportunity for individuals who want exposure to the behind-the-scenes work that supports healthcare organizations, healthcare operations, provider systems, compliance programs, and mission-driven innovation.
Position Summary
The Healthcare Research & Development Analyst Intern will support research activities that help Bedrock strengthen its internal knowledge base, service development efforts, and healthcare support models. This role will involve gathering, organizing, reviewing, and analyzing information related to healthcare systems, provider administration, compliance, policy, operational workflows, and related market or regulatory topics.
This position is ideal for someone who wants to build experience in healthcare administration, public health, compliance, policy, healthcare operations, or nonprofit healthcare strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on healthcare topics, regulations, provider operations, compliance issues, and administrative trends
- Review and summarize articles, reports, policy materials, and regulatory guidance
- Support development of internal research briefs, working documents, and concept papers
- Assist with organizing findings into structured formats for leadership review
- Help identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities across healthcare administrative environments
- Support research related to healthcare access, provider readiness, compliance infrastructure, and operational sustainability
- Contribute to special projects tied to Bedrock’s service development and long-term strategy
- Maintain organized documentation and research records

Qualifications
Required
- Strong interest in healthcare, public health, health administration, policy, compliance, or nonprofit systems

- Comfortable working independently and following direction
- Interest in learning about healthcare systems and administrative operations
Preferred
- Current undergraduate student, recent graduate, or graduate student
