At Responder Relief Fund Corp, we’re looking for a Media & PR Volunteer with a passion for crafting compelling narratives. If you get excited about shaping stories, building relationships with media, and using your communication skills to make a real difference, we’d love to have you on our team!
- Why Your Voice Matters:
Every press release you draft, every media connection you make, and every social post you help shape will directly impact our ability to:
- Share inspiring stories of first responders and families we’ve helped
- Attract more support for our emergency relief programs
- Raise awareness about the challenges heroes face after disasters
- What You’ll Do:
- Craft press releases and media pitches that get noticed
- Build relationships with local and national journalists
- Help shape our public messaging and brand voice
- Collaborate with our team to spot newsworthy stories
- Occasionally prep spokespeople for interviews (we’ll provide training!)
