    Fostering Cats

    Most of our cats spend time in loving foster homes before heading to the Adoption Center. Our foster volunteers provide daily care, socialization, transportation, and OAR supplies food, litter, and basic necessities. The length of stay varies by the cat’s needs; many remain in foster care for two to three weeks. Before returning, fosters complete a brief worksheet and share photos, giving us valuable insight and great images to help promote each cat for adoption.
