My name is Laurie and I coordinate the volunteer community here at SAFE. Thank you so much for your interest! Firstly, I'm thrilled you are entertaining helping out at SAFE. Our volunteers are truly the heart of our community and we value any amount of time or contribution you are able to give towards this important cause. We are all excited to meet you!
In addition to time with these incredible animals and a great community here at the farm, as a volunteer you will have access to ongoing personal development resources. These include Horsemanship Training, Horse Grooming 101, Joel Connor Clinics, Herd Health Seminars, Barn Assist Classes, among others. We can chat more about this in your 1 Hour Orientation and then your 1 Hour Training, both of which are required prior to your first day at the barn.
