Student Companion Volunteer - Saint Paul, MN Area

Are you seeking to make a difference in the lives of others?

As a companion volunteer you can enrich the lives of terminally ill patients in your community. In-person visits take place at the patient’s residence or facility where they live. Visits may involve reading a book, watching a movie, doing crafts or playing games, conversation, or simply being present with them. Hours are extremely flexible and can be as many or as few as you'd like. Volunteering can fit around your college schedule.

Become a friend/companion to a patient when they really need it most! If you have a little extra time and are looking for something rewarding to do, look no further. There is an onboarding and training process prior to volunteering. When assigned to a patient, we will review the details of the patient’s life before we introduce you to them and we will meet the patient together.
