Administrative Volunteer – Nourish Meals on Wheels

Nourish Meals on Wheels is seeking friendly, organized, and compassionate Administrative Volunteers to support our mission of providing nutritious meals and meaningful connections to older adults in our community.

Our administrative volunteers play a vital role in helping our office run smoothly and ensuring clients and volunteers receive excellent support each day.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and assist clients with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Conduct new client intake interviews
• Prepare route sheets and delivery materials for volunteer drivers
• Process meal contributions and donations
• Write birthday cards and package birthday gifts for clients
• Assist with general office and administrative projects as needed

Volunteer Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable answering phones and learning computer-based systems
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check

Schedule: Weekday opportunities available, with a particular need for Monday mornings.
