    Who We Are

Bedrock Health Group is a 501(c)(3) healthcare organization focused on building stronger administrative, compliance, and operational infrastructure for healthcare providers. Our work is designed to help providers improve readiness, maintain continuity, navigate complex administrative environments, and strengthen long-term sustainability. Bedrock supports provider access, ongoing operations, administrative recovery, and mission-aligned support for organizations serving communities with real healthcare access needs.

    What This Position Is For

Bedrock Health Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Volunteer) to support organizational leadership with scheduling, correspondence, internal coordination, and executive operations. This opportunity is designed for individuals with strong administrative and organizational skills who want to contribute to a healthcare-forward mission while gaining hands-on experience supporting executive-level operations within a regulated nonprofit environment.

This is a structured opportunity for individuals who want real-world exposure to executive operations, organizational administration, and the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps a mission-driven healthcare organization moving forward.

    Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant will support Bedrock's leadership team with day-to-day executive operations, including managing schedules, coordinating communications, organizing internal documentation, preparing materials, and supporting the overall administrative needs of leadership. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

This role is centered on internal executive support and does not involve direct client, patient, or provider-facing responsibilities, nor access to protected or personally identifiable information.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to build experience in executive administration, organizational operations, or nonprofit leadership support within a healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support leadership with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
    • Assist with drafting, organizing, and managing internal and external correspondence
    • Help prepare meeting agendas, briefing materials, notes, and follow-up action items
    • Maintain organized internal files, records, and executive documentation
    • Support coordination between leadership and internal teams, volunteers, and external contacts
    • Assist with tracking leadership priorities, action items, and key deadlines
    • Help prepare presentations, reports, and internal communications for leadership review
    • Support the planning and logistics of internal meetings and organizational initiatives
    • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks tied to Bedrock's organizational development and growth
    • Help ensure that leadership operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational priorities

    What You Will Gain

    • Hands-on administrative operations experience within a healthcare-focused nonprofit
    • Exposure to organizational leadership, administration, and executive-level operations in a regulated environment
    • Practical experience supporting high-level decision-making and organizational coordination
    • Opportunity to strengthen administrative, communication, and organizational management skills
    • Resume-building experience relevant to executive administration, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, operations, and organizational leadership
    • Mentorship and direct exposure to strategic healthcare development and organizational growth
    • Experience that supports preparation for careers in executive administration, operations management, or nonprofit leadership

    • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and follow through on action items
    • Comfortable managing correspondence, documentation, and scheduling on behalf of leadership
    • Interest in healthcare administration, nonprofit operations, or organizational development

    Preferred

    • Experience supporting senior leadership, executives, or organizational directors
    • Current graduate student, recent graduate, or working professional with relevant experience
