Friendly Visiting

• seniors 60 and older
• live alone or with family
• who are lonely, depressed or isolated
• no longer drives
• who could benefit from a weekly in-home visit
• wants to share similar interests or hobbies
• Does not provide medical service
• Does not provide care taker duties
• Not a dating service
• This program is not available to: Memory Care, Rehab, or Assisted Living Facilities

Volunteers-18 or 21 to drive

• Phone Callers-weekly phone calls to their seniors - like wellness checks

There are many ways you can provide positive interaction.

• take a walk
• visit a farmers market
• see a local car show
• visit a greenhouse of flowers
• visit a flea market or garage sale
• share a cup of coffee
• go out to lunch
• visit a local park
• sit by a river
• fishing
• come to an event at any of our Senior Services Associates locations
• play bingo ( Aurora & Yorkville )
• line dancing (Aurora Location)
• aerobic exercise at (Aurora Location)
• fit and move aerobics at (Yorkville)
• chair volleyball at (Aurora)
• attend special event presentations and community dining
