Accounting Internship

The World Championships Organizing Committee, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity that promotes international sport by organizing tennis tournaments and events, is seeking is seeking an accounting intern to support our team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have good organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities will include:

·Assisting with research and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records;

·General administrative work like filing;

·Data entry using QuickBooks and Excel; and

·Assisting in projects involving accounting and office operations;

Qualifications:

·Must be a recent graduate or a college or university student with a focus (major/minor) in accounting who has completed managerial and accounting coursework;

·Strong attention to detail;

·Organizational skills;

·Written and verbal communication skills;

·Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;

·Problem-solving;

·Excel and Quickbooks (or accounting software) experience; and

·Must be comfortable doing data entry
