Human Health Project – Children’s Health Literacy Program
The Human Health Project is developing a dynamic Children’s Health Literacy Program that supports children and young adults ages 0–25 in understanding mental health, healthcare navigation, and diet & nutrition. We are seeking a creative and passionate Animator (Volunteer) with a focus on children’s animation to help bring these topics to life through engaging, age-appropriate visual content.
Your work will help children in early childhood (0–5) learn about emotions, routines, and basic health concepts; guide school-age youth (6–17) in understanding more complex ideas like coping strategies, chronic conditions, and communication skills; and support young adults (18–25) as they learn to navigate healthcare independently and make informed nutrition choices. Animation will play a key role in making these lessons accessible, relatable, and fun.
What You’ll Do:
Create short animated videos, characters, and visual assets tailored to different age groups
Translate educational content into child-friendly storytelling formats
Collaborate with educators, program designers, and writers
Help develop a cohesive visual style for the program’s digital materials
Contribute ideas that make health topics engaging and empowering for kids and teens
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in animation (2D, 3D, or motion graphics), especially for children’s content
Strong storytelling instincts and ability to simplify complex topics visually
Ability to design characters and animations that resonate with diverse audiences
Creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm for improving children’s health education
This is a meaningful opportunity to use your artistic talent to support children’s well-being and make health literacy accessible for young people around the world.
Help us educate and inspire the next generation. Apply today to volunteer as a Children’s Animator with the Human Health Project!
