If you enjoy staying organized, connecting with people, and knowing your work makes a real difference in the lives of women who've served, this role might be perfect for you.

- Handle the details - Monitor office supplies, help create reports and presentations, and maintain our databases
- Be a team player - Help different team members communicate and work together effectively
- Protect privacy - Handle sensitive information with care and respect (understanding of veteran privacy is important)
- Welcome everyone - Provide friendly, helpful service to women veterans and community partners
What We're Looking For
- Experience - Previous administrative or office support experience (military administrative experience counts!)
- Tech comfortable - You know your way around Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Great communicator - You write clearly and speak confidently
- Organized multitasker - You can juggle several tasks without dropping the ball
- Trustworthy - You understand the importance of keeping private information private
- Team-oriented - You work well with others and enjoy being helpful
Bonus points if you have:
- A college degree or administrative assistant training
- Military experience (you understand the veteran community from the inside)
- Experience working with veteran populations
What You'll Gain
- Leadership growth - Develop skills that transfer to every area of life
- Community connection - Meet amazing women veterans and become part of our sisterhood
- Personal satisfaction - See the direct impact of your contribution to fellow veterans
- Professional development - Build your resume and learn new skills
- Meaningful relationships - Connect with women who understand the unique journey of military service
- Networking opportunities - Expand your professional and personal circles within the veteran community
The Commitment
This is a volunteer position requiring approximately 10 hours per week. We ask for a minimum commitment of 6 months to ensure continuity for our veteran community. Work is primarily in-person, with hybrid options available when necessary.
You'll work directly with Nancy Becher, Executive Director, who will provide training and ongoing support.
