    Descrição

    HerNest Ecosystem Collaboration/fundraising Partner Cohort

Applications are now open for the Collaboration/Fundraising cohort under the HerNest ecosystem.

This is an ongoing onboarding and contributor integration process running until 21 May 2026.

    About HerNest

HerNest is a human-centered systems ecosystem building sustainable implementation infrastructure for nonprofits, innovators, researchers, and community networks across Africa.

Developed through lived-experience research, operational experimentation, and collaborative systems-building, HerNest designs frameworks that help organizations create more adaptive, participatory, and context-aware systems for social impact implementation.

    Our work combines:

    • human-centered systems design
    • nonprofit implementation infrastructure
    • governance and safeguarding systems
    • behavioral and participation insights
    • AI-assisted ecosystem coordination
    • collaborative pilot programs
    • operational sustainability and ecosystem growth systems

Through our ecosystem model, we collaborate with nonprofits, institutions, businesses, researchers, community networks, and ecosystem partners to co-develop scalable initiatives focused on:

    • women’s economic participation
    • career and opportunity pathways
    • youth development
    • organizational sustainability
    • collaborative innovation
    • community-centered implementation systems

At the core of HerNest is a simple belief:

Sustainable systems are built through participation, contextual understanding, adaptive collaboration, and shared infrastructure.

    Current Ecosystem Phase

HerNest is currently in a pre-scale ecosystem growth phase where operational expansion, partnership opportunities, implementation demands, and collaborative systems development are growing faster than existing internal capacity.

As we continue building sustainable implementation infrastructure across Africa, we are expanding our contributor ecosystem with individuals who are ready to actively participate in collaborative systems-building, operational support, fundraising, communications, partnerships, research, and ecosystem coordination.

    Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for contributors who are:

    • ready for active participation and immediate deployment
    • interested in collaborative systems-building and co-creation
    • open to learning adaptive and non-traditional methodologies
    • proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented
    • comfortable working within evolving operational systems
    • interested in innovation, trust-based collaboration, and sustainable development
    • able to communicate consistently and work within structured collaborative environments
    • interested in long-term impact, ecosystem growth, and milestone-driven contribution

This is not a passive volunteering structure.

This cohort is designed for contributors who are ready to engage, collaborate, experiment, and build within an active implementation environment.

Because HerNest is currently operating within a high-growth and capacity-expansion phase, we encourage applicants to apply only if they are prepared for active participation, collaborative contribution, and consistent engagement throughout the onboarding and deployment period.

This opportunity may not be suitable for individuals who are currently uncertain about their availability, commitment capacity, or readiness for collaborative operational environments.
